If you entrust the planning of your wedding in Spain to Costa Blanca Events, you don't have to pay a fixed wedding planner fee!

Before we explain how that is possible, why wedding planners need to charge a hefty fee.

It all starts listening to the ideas, wishes and preferences of the wedding couple, and translate them into a wedding script.

Then go out and find the venues and vendors for these services, and negotiate a deal with them.

When accepted by the wedding couple, the real work only starts.

For each of the venues and vendors, the wedding planner has to ;  

  1. listen to the wishes, preferences and questions of the wedding couple
  2. Communicate them with the corresponding venue or vendor
  3. relay their answers back to the wedding couple
  4. and if the wedding couple has another idea, wish or question, start back at (1)

Then, as soon as the planning of one service is concluded, update the wedding plan accordingly.

No wonder this takes a lot of time, and most wedding planner associations recommend their members to calculate a minimum of 60 hours in their fee.

At 40 € per hour, this results in an average wedding planner fee of 2400 € + v.a.t.

And if they exceed that number of hours, they'll charge you for the additional ones.

And they need to charge these fees to cover their expenses and make a living.

But what if a wedding planner could get it all done, with the same level of service and flexibility, but much more efficiently.

On our 'cost of a wedding planner' page, we've explained the cost of most wedding planners to cover their work, overhead costs, and make a living.

So how are we able to do it for free?

The reason is 3-fold. 

  1. 1 ) Costa Blanca Events also has overhead costs, but ours is much lower than other wedding planners. And yes, we too have to make a living.
    But the significant advantage we have is that we're can spread them over 40-45 weddings per year, much more than most wedding planners.
    So our overhead cost and cost of living per wedding is much lower.
  2. Because we so many weddings, we're able to negotiate exclusive deals with our venues and vendors.
    They guarantee the best price for our wedding couples but still leave some margin which comes on top of our wedding planner commission.
  3. Most wedding planners have to outsource everything.
    At Costa Blancas Events, we continuously invest in materials. So instead of renting or outsourcing, we can provide these services to our wedding couples. 
    It makes it cheaper for them, gives them better guarantees, and is an extra source of revenue for us.

Lower overhead costs combined with many weddings which each produce a sum of various small revenues, that's our secret!
